Ellie is a true nature girl who grew up riding horses and hiking the mountain trails of Northern California.

She fell in love with performing as a tiny tot, following her Dad around their community theatre, where he was a jack-of-all-trades technician/actor. She would watch his shows from up in the booth and spend intermissions gabbing with the actors in their dressing rooms, knowing that one day she would be just like them. By the age of 4, her parents could no longer keep her away from the stage, and she was cast in her first show, “It’s a Wonderful Life” as Zuzu Bailey. The rest, they say, is history.

As an actor, Ellie brings heart, vulnerability, and a little grit to every role. She is a storyteller who thrives in the in-between: grounded but imaginative, soft but strong. Whether it’s the struggle of a dreamer chasing something just out of reach or a young and determined heroine discovering her power, she leads with honesty and truth.

Nowadays, she lives in Astoria, NY, with her partner and is an avid yogi with an ever-growing plant collection. Nature has always been a deep and grounding force in her life, and that quiet strength shows up in the way she approaches every role. She deeply believes in the profound power of theatre to create deep and lasting positive change in the world and looks forward to continuing to be a part of the artistic revolution!
